Whilst trying to listen on last nights net (26th Feb) I had noise bars on the scope at 700Hz spacing.
Just after 10pm the bars slowly moved & I could actually hear a couple of people, it was still noisy though.
About 11pm the noise bars drifted back up & I gave up.
I hope it's not the solar panels that were installed last week, so I will listen on the frequency over the coming nights! :-\

Take a look a these. . . . . all have interference, but none of them move up or down the band

Thanks Ray, you have certainly done your homework. :)
I will go through them after the 10M Test Net.

ps. I tuned to 27.395MHz last night & there was no sign of the dreaded bars. ::)

I don't see the diagonal lines on the video waterfalls that I had so undecided.
I checked 27.395MHz again yesterday evening and no noise again! ???
My plan is to check each evening until/if it happens again. It has to be someone near me as I always have the same power bricks/supplies on whenever I'm on radio, Also 'Station Manager' always has the same for the LED lighting etc.

This still has me puzzled, after my post I had no noise any evening until Wed 4th (5 days) when it returned from 18 to 30MHz!
Yesterday listening on the SSB net it was clear with only S1-S2 all evening.

My thinking is that if the solar panels were the cause it would be the same every evening, or am I wrong?

This is the worse kind of interference, as it comes and go's at irregular intervals.

Does it cover all of the HF band or just different portions of it?

It's all across all of 5 bands Ray, 10/11/12/15 & 17M.

Let's hope it doesn't affect too many Thursdays, not too wooried about the rest of the week as I'm usually between 80M & 20M then.
