12th Anniversary of legal AM/SSB in the UK 27/06/2026

Hello and welcome

On a hot Saturday evening I was set up in Radio Corner to celebrate the 12th anniversary of legal AM & SSB in the UK.
My working conditions were the Alinco DX-70 set at 50 watts and the Solarcon A-99 antenna.

I started off on AM at about 18:00 UK time, calling out on channel 14, competing with the rest of Europe.

Not a bad turn out as I was up against heavy Euro skip and England playing in the World Cup.
