Hello and welcome to he show

After a hectic anniversary net last week, time for something a bit more relaxed. . .

Here is another episode of "Ray Reviews" the South Coast, Channel 14, Monday Night PMR Net, held on the 14th of September 2026

The net is scheduled to start at 20:30 🕣 and "officially" finishes at 23:00 🕚 UK time, but it can go on a bit longer if people are about.

My working conditions were the CRT SPACE U powered by a car battery 🔋, putting about 15ish watts out from the "Dean" made di-pole up on a fibreglass pole.

Thanks to you, my English friends on channel 14 PMR — it's a pleasure hearing you, but unfortunately my English is too poor to hold a conversation with you. I'm going to relearn English so that in a few months I can exchange a few sentences with you. 73 51 to all, from 14UVR244 Philippe, Normandy, Calvados.

Hello and welcome to another episode of "Ray Reviews" the Channel 14, South Coast Monday Night PMR Net.

The net was held on Monday 12th of October 2026 and could be found on PMR analogue channel 14 or 446.16875 MHz. You don't need any kind of DCS/CTCSS tones to join in, and ignore the advice of some people, set the radio to NFM.

If you have been listening in for a few weeks and have heard the use of callsigns/handles and think you need one to join, well you don't. We have a number of operators that just use their name.

My location for the net was Radio Corner, Ashdown 🌲 Forest in the county of East Sussex.
When I set up for the net it was wet, windy & foggy which meant I spent the next 3 hours in damp clothes. By the end of the net, the fog had been cleared by the wind.

The net is scheduled to start at 20:30 🕣 and can finish anytime from 23:00 🕚 onwards UK time.

My set up for the night was the CRT SPACE U, powered by a car battery 🔋, pumping out about 15 watts via the "Dean" made Di-pole up on a fibreglass pole.

Now for an ad break
(In the style of an American car salesman promising everything and delivering nothing)

Are you free on December 3rd 2026?

Got nothing better to do?

Well tune your CB, export, HF radios to FCC channel 39 or 27.395 MHz LSB and be part of the 10th anniversary of Southern Area & South Coast SSB Net.

Get your name in the log and be entered into a prize draw to win a bag of Radio Corner air (which will be collected on the night so to capture all the smells & excitement)

Now back to our normal program

With the when, where, what time and how sorted, on with the list of who heard and or worked who.
( H after a callsign means working a handy sometime during the night)

1. M3*** (H) - Martin - Bognor Regus - West Sussex 🥇
