It was my pleasure to have more time with you also for your wife & Son to say hello to me.
It was very interesting to hear of your jobs & life, also that you made contact with some more UK operators.

As you are returning to Granville tomorrow I guess we will not have another chance to chat for some time on PMR, but maybe on 11M sometime.

Many thanks for the QSO's this week & I look forward to our next. :)

Best regards & 73,
Tony

ps. I spoke to Ray (26CT2290) on his 11M net and he had noticed all your spots on Cluster446 so he was aware of the Ch14PMR activity so I didn't have to tell him. 8)

I will use the ANDROID application SSTV ENCODER on my ANYTONE AT878UV.

If you don't have anything to decode SSTV, you can download ROBOT 36 for ANDROID on you smartphone or tab.

South Coast PMR net / Re: Monday PMR Net

Salut, hello and welcome

Here is another episode of "Ray Reviews" of the South Coast, Channel 14, Monday Night PMR Net

The net was held on Lundi 6th of Juillet 2026

My working conditions was the CRT Space U powered by a car battery 🔋 and the "Dean" made Di-pole on a fibreglass pole.

The net is scheduled to start at 19:30 🕢 UTC (20:30 🕣 BST) and finishes anytime from 22:00 🕙 UTC (23:00 🕚 BST) onwards.

My location for the night was Radio Corner, Ashdown 🌳 Forest in the county of East Sussex, Location JO-01-bb or Lat 51.0604 Lon 0.0940 or the home of Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Tigger too!

The net is held on analogue PMR channel 14, NFM and doesn't use any kind of CTCSS, sub, DCS tones. This makes it open to all, regardless of radio experience or radio used.
If you are a listening station thinking of taking the next step and calling in, don't worry about having a callsign, its not needed, just use your name and location.

With the when, where, what time established, on with my list of stations that checked in and were heard and or worked.

and me
CT 2290 - Ray - Ashdown 🌳 Forest - East Sussex - In the Chair 💺

Thank you Mother Nature for given us some stable tropo that allowed good strong contacts between France and England and East Sussex to Dorset.
Thank you to all the patient stations that waited to call in, while Jacky 14 FRS 119 was being worked.
Did you know that on this date in history, Richard the Lionheart was crowned King of England 🤴 and in 1924 the first experimental picture was sent by radio from the US to England
Thank you all who called in and sorry if you tried and wasn't heard.

Now for the Scores on the Doors

2 Countries worked (14 & 26 division)
21 in the log
0 London boroughs worked
3 Coffee's consumed
5 Counties worked
3 Stations giving hand held's a try
1 IQ-0 pressing the PTT switch repeatedly after the net had finished 🙄😕

That about brings this review to an end, remember to put the empty milk bottles, feed the cat and check there are no smouldering fags in the ashtray. If one of them falls on a 1970's sofa it will go inflames!

Best 73 and au revoir
