They only operated today (Sun) according to the Crawley Club website.

Hello & welcome

Here is my report for the Southern Area & South Coast SSB Net, held on Thursday 24/09/2026

The net is scheduled to start at 20:30 🕣 and finishes anytime form 23:00 🕚 onwards UK time.

My QTH was Radio Corner, Ashdown 🌳 Forest in the county of East Sussex, were the weather was mild and still, with some thin cloud allowing the almost full Moon 🌔 to shine down.

Channel 39 on the "Mids" using LSB, is were the net is held and my working conditions were the old version 3 Anytone AT-6666, powered by a car battery 🔋, push a maximum of 40 whiskies out of a Solarcon A-99 antenna.

Here is another episode of "Ray Reviews" the South Coast Channel 14 Monday Night PMR Net, held on Monday 21st of September 2026.

My location for the net was Radio Corner, Ashdown 🌲 Forest in the County of East Sussex. Maidenhead Locator JO01BB or Lon 51.0604293, Lat 0.093545.
Weather was clear and chilly, with good visibility to the horizon allowing the sunset to light up the sky in a fiery orange and a Waxing Gibbous 🌔 Moon to shine down.

The net is scheduled to start at 20:30 🕣 and finish anytime from 23:00 🕚 UK time or 19:30 🕢 to 22:00 🕙 UTC

My working conditions on the night was the CRT SPACE U, powered by a car battery 🔋, and the "Dean" made Di-pole up on a fibreglass pole

The net can be found on PMR analogue 14 and doesn't use any of those silly tones or codes, and is open to all and you don't even need a callsign or handle.

They operate all over the bands John , I believe some will also do FT8.

I will use Rusty Cluster in SMP as you can select 'Railways' which should help a lot.
